Almost finished decorating my tree. Working outside and inside is not too great the past few days because it is getting colder. I want everything done by Saturday.
Almost finished my tree here
One more season of use for these old bows. Adding a glitter pick and little shiny ornaments sets it off.
blueberry muffins, so easy to make. self-rising flour, sugar, butter oil egg and I have a sprinkling of sugar on top
A Santa waving near the tracks
The townhall has it's tree up

Dearest Betsy,
ReplyDeleteYou sure are brave for still putting on the outside decorations in the cold.
It is already years ago that we were doing that, with freezing hands. Then I said suddenly—I got an idea! Get some large garbage bags and we started filling them up and deliver ALL of it to the poor Mexican crew of our friends' construction company. They were happy and we too!
Hugs,
Mariette
It is getting harder on the ladder with my knees lately but I pushed it. I love lighting the outside. Hugs, Betsy

DeleteYour home is sure looking lovely, Betsy! Interesting idea about the paper behind your pretty wreath. Makes sense. Love how your town looks, too. So festive and inviting! We put up our tree on Monday and decorated with our oldest grandson. Wreaths on the doors will have to do for a while as tomorrow Grayden has another surgery on his left hand. While he's convalescing I hope to pull out a few boxes of our favorite Christmas decorations. Stay warm and cozy!
ReplyDeleteThank you Martha Ellen. Praying for Graydens quick recovery on his hand and he will enjoy see the pretty decorations while convalescing. Husband out at the moment working on lights so it won't blow a circuit. Going to rain today so we are hoping to get them finished. Good you had grandson help with your tree. It's getting harder to climb up and down on ladder for me these days. My Knee.
DeleteYour tree is just beautiful and I love your wreaths!
ReplyDeletethank you Miss Merry
