Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden 2019

We visited Lewis Ginter a few nights ago and enjoyed the conservatory decorations and  in the gardens.
Here is one in the Conservatory of my sister when she was up for a visit from Maine a week ago.

I thought this was so pretty.. It's the fountain

Red lights in this oak.  I am thinking it's a red oak as the reasoning, just  a guess.

View from the Bloemendaal house to front yard gardens

The house was not open to view, but me peeking in the window and liking how the strand of lights look in the inside window sill

Just a few shots of Christmas other places as I am still decorating

Snow

Yay, got some snow.  I love it. Had to take a ride in it.   Wasn't much fun on the way home as the back roads crunched with the tires running over it.
Heading out to shop

Home pics

Following are shots from the outside the house.  I forgot to put out my sleigh on the front too.  Not as many decorations this year.   I still haven't posted my tree upstairs.  the one seen here is in the den.

the old truck, my sister gave to my son.  I have it under my tree and the grand girls pull it out and ride it .   The cow I bought at Through the Garden Gate - a local vintage shop here.   They love pulling that cow around too.

I didn't do anything fancy this year about decorating the garland or mantle.  Kids like seeing the Santa's.

I put swags on the bottom windows,  just looked like to many wreaths on the house when the bottom windows had them too.   I made them with magnolia leaves.

A nice toy shop in town.   My husband and I purchased gifts from here today.
