We look forward to seeing the lights and displays in the library.  The grand girls love it too.

It's always something different to see every year.

Before we head off to the library for Christmas music and a look around at dollhouses.  A bit of food at the cafe.  Steve and I both love the Crab bisque soup and Genevieve does too.  She wanted chili tonight.  Adalyn just wanted yogurt and Southern Caviar (pimento spread) on crackers.

This is a closer look at the tree in the area of the library where there is more quiet and comfy chairs to sit a spell.

I was amazed at the tiny details like the parquet floor and mantles

I like also the way it is an old manse with signs of wear like the ceiling with the peeling paint.  The drapes at the windows.

 so much more but there was plexiglass to protect and hard to get a good picture without some glare.

Lewis Ginter Conservatory tree and library tree

A few pictures of the trees in the conservatory and library to share and then off to finish my decorating.  Taking longer and longer it seems these days.  I need more rests in between trekking up and down my stairs.

Genevieve and Adalyn.  Adalyn has reading glasses now and loves them.

Both girls are making a wish in the fountain.  I heard Genevieve wish for a Bella doll.

One wish wasn't enough for Genevieve.  Opa was handing out coins for their wishes.

A train set up in another part of the Conservatory among flowers.  Finding the Fairies among them was fun to spot.

The theme for this tree is  "Miss Rumphius". 

A second tree is decorated with lovely dried flowers also.

On display is some interesting art work like this "sticks and stones" by a Richmond based artist.
