Colonial Beach

Steve and I took a ride yesterday to Colonial Beach to see the water and if light enough pick up some drift wood.   It got dark fast but the town park had the prettiest Nativity and lit village.

 A lot of time and work went into this and a fine job was done so all could enjoy

I didn't get out of the car to take the pictures and now see I should have.  It was a little chilly near the water.

Next year I want to bring the girls to see this and get hot chocolate.

Christmas visit

Visiting my brother and sister in laws home night before New Years to see their decorations this year.

still getting used to settings on my camera,  may take a while though.

There is a nice warm wood burning stove out here that I didn't get a picture of that makes it nice for watching snow coming down.  Should be happening here soon.

Christmas pictures at home

I received a new camera from Steve at Christmas so most of these pictures are taken with it.   So happy to have a new camera.  I am sure the old one will turn up now that I don't need it any more.

Night pictures are better with my new camera

I love the look of bells and the sound at Christmas.  I got that from Mama as she said silver bells is her favorite song.

Will have to put more color next year on the outside I think to show up

A few shots of my tree upstairs that is new this year.   Not sure if I really like a flocked tree.   Never had one before , so this is first.

Entry way

This is in my Entry way.   The tree plays Christmas carols , mom gave it to me about 10 years ago.

I have these carolers at the top of the steps.  A friend of mine gave these to me and the children like to see them as they make their way up the step.
